Little Chinky eyes...a poem my dad made for me

LITTLE CHINKY EYES

In a faraway place
     In the South
Where millions of
     Coco trees abound
In a place close to the
     Deep blue ocean
     And Dalahican Beach
Within the foothills
Of fabled Mt. Banahaw
     Said to be where spirits
And folklore gods resided
     Was born,
My eldest daughter
     Round as a ball
Spunky in her ways
     Survivor like her Dad
She grew
     In times of want
And in times of plenty
     All, to pass through
Fire and forge
     Her indomitable spirit
To go against all odds
     That in her little
Way,  she would
     Leave her indelible mark
On how to live
The way she would like to
A darling child to me
     Naughty and with courage
But caring and kind
     Just like her mother
To those who have less...
     The mark of my daughter
Who has little Chinky Eyes
